Antiseptic for Minor Cuts and Wounds:
Clean the affected area with water and pat dry.
Apply a small amount of alum powder directly to the wound to help stop bleeding and prevent infections.
Repeat as needed until the wound heals.
Natural Deodorant:
Mix a small amount of alum powder with water to form a paste.
Apply the paste to clean underarms to help control body odor.
Allow it to dry before putting on clothes.
After Shave Treatment:
Dissolve alum powder in water to create a mild antiseptic solution.

Allow the particles to settle, then carefully pour off the clear water for drinking or other uses. Alum helps to clarify the water by causing particles to clump together and settle.

Use alum powder as a mordant in natural dyeing processes to help the dye adhere to fabrics or yarns.
Soak the fabric or yarn in a solution of alum powder and water before dyeing to improve colorfastness.
